Study On Countermeasures Of Careers Guidance For Students In Higher Vocational Colleges

With the rapid development of vocational education in recent years, the number of students in higher vocational colleges increased greatly which resulted in a lot of pressure for employment. So their employment now is spotlight of society. As the career guidance construction for students in higher vocational colleges can not meet the requirements of the new situation. Lots of factors account for emploment in vocational college, such as lack of caeer guidance rules, unreasonable construction and aimless affairs. It is of great significance to study the careers guidance system and to realize their full employment.In order to understand thoroughly the present situation of employment and careers guidance construction, the author has made a questionnaire survey among staff of careers guidance organizations, students at school and those graduated in 17 higher vocational colleges in Hunan Province. Based on the survey, this paper tries to find out causes of the problems and deficiencies in present careers guidance construction. In hope of providing useful references for government, colleges and companies, and helping students to choose career rationally and rightly, combined with Marx's human being's full development theory. The author proposes to strengthen careers guidance for students in higher vocational colleges which calls for strengthening of government macro-control, perfection the subjective functions of colleges, and social participation and cooperation.
