| In developed countries such as Britain and the United States, careers guidance theories and practices for college students have been paid highly attention and developed well. Furthermore, careers guidance education is included in the whole national education system of those countries and supported by legislation. In China, careers guidance theories and practices have a short history and have many challenges – from poorly organized organizational structure, courses offered, teaching methods and supervision to the paucity of teachers. Nowadays, ideological and political educations in vocational college face new problems. With the prevalence of higher education along the reform of vocational college employment system, the difficulty of graduate employment has become a hot topic. Whether students can get employed can directly impact on the sustainable development of China’s higher education, social stability, and construction of a harmonious society.However, the work of majority vocational colleges in Chongqing presently focuses on providing the employment information, which is not comprehensive. This paper, starting with the global employment situation the vocational colleges students are facing, and analyzing practical research, provided a different perspective, i.e., the ideological and psychological problems is an important issue in the process of graduate employment, and emphasized the importance of strengthening the ideological and political education in graduate employment. This research also walked through the audiences the studies the status of vocational colleges students’ ideological and political education and analyzed the reasons.On the basis of ideological and political education, this thesis examined careers guidance educational theories and practices in China and abroad, analyzed the main problems of Chongqing vocation education, and explored strategies suitable for improving employment quality for Chongqing vocational colleges.The thesis is divided into four chapters.As an introduction, Chapter 1 mainly expounded the research background, significance and condition of the ideological and political education of the employment guidance in China and defined the importance and urgency of the issues researched in this essay.In Chapter 2, the basic concepts, effects and significance of the ideological and political education of the employment guidance in Vocational Technology Institutes were discussed. The discussion about the education condition of Vocational Technology Institutes in Chongqing and the features and problems the students showed in the education activities was protruded, on the basis of scientific analysis on the actual survey data.In Chapter 3, we discussed about the achievements attained, and the problems and problem causes presented in current ideological and political education of the employment guidance. Overall systematic research and exploration of the attained achievements and objective problems is required for deeper researches on the developing trend and policies of the ideological and political education.In Chapter 4, mandatory principles, specific strategies and feasible measures were discussed targeting at the different problems presented in Chapter 3. |
