Composition teaching plays a crucial role in Chinese teaching. It is an important way and method to improve quality education for pupils .For a long period of time. A great number of Chinese teachers have greatly used this program exploring and practicing its use .However .composition teaching is still the most dissatisfying in Chinese teaching. Composition writing is a more difficult task to the Chinese students. It has become a serious problem in the Chinese education field. This thesis does some research on the current situation looks at related problems and the cause of the problems in Chinese composition teaching .it also looks at new possibilities based on the theories and practices of composition writing all over the world .The author mainly researches how to develop and improve the ability of writing composition.The whole thesis is divided into five parts:The first part analyses the current situation of composition writing among pupils. It points out that composition writing requires a great deal of attention.Chapter one states different kinds of problems in composition teaching to Chinese pupils and analyses the main causes of the problems. The ability of composition writing is more difficult to improve .because of the traditional teaching ideas, improper teaching method and evaluation which come from factors of history and society. These reasons lead to lack of interested in composition writing by the pupils. At the same time, it points out the practical significance of the research.Chapter two analyses the related theories to the ability of composition writing among pupils. Firstly .it states a definition of composition writing and a structure of composition writing for pupils. Secondly, it explains the developing tendency of composition teaching in all over the world and the current situation of research to composition writing among pupils .at last. It emphasizes the opinion and request of composition teaching for pupils by the new course.Chapter three states the strategy of education to the ability of composition writing for the top classes in primary school. This part is the soul of thesis. It emphasizes the reform of composition teaching. It motivates the interest and confidence to composition writing among pupils .at the same time. Pay more attention to the connection of efficiency among writing and living as well as reading. It benefits to improve the ability of writing for pupils. It also puts forward the method of reform in the composition teaching field for pupils.Conclusion the author generalizes the thesis and points out the limitation of research. Further more .the author put forwards his hope that it reforms in the Chinese composition teaching field for pupils.
