As we all known,"Product Approach"is the indispensable part of the Chinese teaching in junior high school, whose ultimate aim is to improve students’ comprehensive language ability, and develop their Chinese quality. However, at present, there is a worrying situation of Chinese writing teaching in junior high school, that is, because of the inherent drawback of the "Product Approach" in realistic teaching, students are short of writing interest and the communication with teachers. What’s more, it neglects the cultivation of students’ creative thinking in writing.The study attempts to lead the process writing approach into Chinese teaching in junior high school, and through the questionnaire, classroom observation, interview and examination and other research methods, it does its utmost to collect related information in order to inspect the practical application effect of the process writing approach in Chinese teaching in junior high school. In this way, this study answers the three core problems it focused on, that is:whether the process writing approach can motivate students’ writing enthusiasm and interest? whether it can enhance students’ writing ability effectively? and whether it can improve and increase junior high school teachers’professional ability?The basic framework of this thesis is:firstly, it analyzes the present problems of the composition writing teaching in our junior high school, and proposes some assumptions to research and solve the problems; secondly, it sorts out and analyzes the rise and development, related theoretical foundation,operational procedure, and essential features of the process writing approach; finally, in the next chapter, it introduces detailedly the research process that the author applied the process writing approach in a junior high school in Langfang, Hebei Province, including the research purpose, design, process and result.The study shows that:compared with the product approach, the process writing approach is more available to stimulate students’writing enthusiasm and interest and their writing ability, and enhance teachers’ professional ability. Process writing approach not only has a positive effect on the composition writing teaching in junior high school, but also would be used as a effective way to improve the composition writing teaching in junior high school for teachers. But in the actual teaching, according to the specific teaching practice, teachers should make some appropriate adjustments and changes, in order to improve the efficiency of the composition writing teaching.
