The geography new curriculum standard proposed the brand-new and directive appraisal idea/The evaluation on geography study should be made focusing on both the result and the processes , as well as the changes of emotion, manners and behavior. In order to fulfill multiplicate evaluation goals and the diverseification of appraisal methods, an incentive-based evaluation system that includes both process evaluation and results evaluation,and combines the qualitative appraisal with the quantitative appraisal should be developed to discover the stedents' strong points and encourage their self-confidence." It is clear that in the geography new curriculum, the appraisal of emotion, manners and values has been regarded important. However, in the actual teaching many problems have come out in the evaluation,on ical, the geographical emotion, manners and values, which has become the enormous barriers for the formation of emotion, manners and values and its appraisal.This article tries to study the appraisal of the emotion, manners and values in the middle school geography curriculum goal by using way and others. It mainly includes four parts: the theoretical reorganization of emotion, manners and values;the comparison of the emotion, manners and values in the geography curriculum goal among countries; the appraisal methods of the formation of geography emotion, manners and values; the experimental study on the appraisal of geography emotion, manners and values.The problems that exist in the appraisal of the emotion, manners and values first displays in understanding and grasping the goal content . Therefore, the first part reorganizes this goal theoretically from the implication of emotion, manners and values,the characteristics of emotion, manner and values, and then it analyses the status of emotion, manner and values in the new curriculum and emphacises further the direction of emotion, manners values.In order to absorb the reasonable essence of emotion, the manners and values goal in overseas geography curriculum standard and form the emotion, manners and value goals which conforms to China's content in our country and complies with the trend of world geography curriculum reform, the second part compares the international developments and contents of geography emotion, manners and value goals with the domestic ones.The third part is the core of this thesis. It proposes that the geography emotion manners and values should be evaluated by using authentic, performance and record jacket appraisal ways meanwhile, uniting the characteristics of the emotion, manners and values .as the content of geography emotion, manners and values of China. It elaborates the exploration to the practical cases under the theoretical instructions. It also proposes some concrete methods of seeping the appraisal of geography emotion, manners and values to the written examination. It is an enlightenment for taking the emotion, manners and values into the present geography teaching and appraisal whichare mainly based on written examination.Uniting the actual teaching, the fourth part conducts the experimental study. It puts the proposed appraisal methods into practice from four aspects: designing the experiment, implementing the experiment , the analysis the experiment results and discussing the results.The final part, the summarizes the main points of this study and points out the deficiencies in this study, the direction and the key points of the future research on the middle school geography emotion, manners and values appraisal.
