Sociological Research On The Cultural Identity Of University Student Group In Transforming Time

Basing on the social transformation in China,according to the theories of social culture control, the individual socialization and the reverse socialized,this article discusses the cultural identity condition and its influence to university student group; and then analyzes its function, with observation and interview .This research discovers that,at present,culture identity of university students is of mainstream and positive in general,but there is some deviation in partial problems, and value orientations has lost in dislocation. In other words,the cultura identity of the university student group has the crisi-tendency.The crisis, however, has negative effect by no means,because the appearance of identity crisis indicates the awakening of self-awareness of the university student; a kind of reflection; the experience of subject in anxiousness and hope with the confused and joy,while the student faces the alien culture.Further,the crisis tendency also has positive and negative function to the university student and the society.The social culture system,the education system,the public opinion system and the same generation university student group have become four primary factors which affect the culture identity of university student group. From the standpoint of sociology, it is not only the needs of student development,but also the summon of social progress and development to coordinate the four social sub-system,and to guide the university student group setting up the idea of a good kind of culture identity.
