Questions from regions inhabited by ethnic groups in basic education are one of the most important realistic issues, also weak links within contemporary Chinese education system. It is believed that the care about living conditions of teachers from minority groups is a feasible way to improve education quality of the regions. Teachers from the central primary school in Baiyun Xiang, Rongshui autonomous County are the research objectives. Firstly, this paper focuses on a full display of primary school teachers'real life style, as well as their inside world, by what they have behaved in home, at school, in the society. Secondly, it attempts to analyze cultural and educational elements affecting their behavior.Narrative research, the method this paper used, belongs to qualitive research. It explains reality underlying the mobile phenomenon by describing subtle events happened around research objectives. It also focuses on"life stories"of the research objectives and tries to show what it should be by reconstructing fragments into stories. The reason why this topic was chose comes from a research activity in November, 2005. That time teachers there shocked me. I kept connection with them when I came back to my university. It was in May,2006 I went to the school again and kept my research there for about one month. During the month, I visited teachers plus students, talked to them, observed them, collected stuff they used and take notes of what I had found. Then I separated materials I got according to the place where activities took place, such as home, school, and society. The dissertation consists of three parts. The first part is a preface. It concludes following contents. First, the reason why I choose the topic; second, characteristics and values of narrative research; third, the choose of research objectives and the procedures of entering into the research spots; four, my personal idea of research objectives and research ethics. The second part describes living conditions and inside world of teachers in L school form perspectives of home, school, and society. All describes were noted after I talked with them. Teachers'living conditions at school are keys of my dissertation. I mainly demonstrated this part from classroom teaching, teachers'workload, career pressure, income, training and work environment. In order to avoid complex matrix, the third part is an attempt to induction. It sums up teachers in the region are tolerant, incapable of actions, helpless and persistent. However, the above are just my personal understanding to the teachers'fresh and complicated living conditions. It is be sure there could be numerous understandings. This research is a research of chosen samples. It does not intend to give something that could be used everywhere. The purpose of this research is to set its theory by inducing subtle events, to help others understanding teachers'living conditions there. If one could get something more from this research, it would be a favor to the author.
