Abstract/Summary:
As the coming of the twenty-first century,a now round of reformation of Chinese college P.E.curriculum and several patterns of P.E.education appear ;the trends toward reformation and development of college P.E.have become the hottest topic in the field of collegeP.E..this tuesis reviews the development history of college P.E. in People' s Republic of China, analyzes the current conditions of college P.E. education, probes into the character and reformation of Chinese college P.E.curriculum and tries to seek the trend of it. the twenty-first century is an era of knowledge economy, in which the rapid development of knowledge makes study a lifelong course and a new generation healthy in both body and mind with lifelong learning ability is called for. And in this way the priority in physical education has to be given to the development of learning competence of the young , especially their awareness of lifelong learning and physical practice. The prerequisite is the improvement of self-regulated learning ability. One of the purposes of modern education is to bring up the self-regulated learners who like to study, not the passive study persons having high scores but poor ablility .Self-regulated learning is a new study way really considers it study development need of people in the future. As one important means of education,P.E.has established the solid foundation for overall development talent with virtue, intelligently, body.This paper focus on the research of P.E.independence study in the university, and how to bring up initiative, independence and creativeness of the students to improve physical education teaching quality.
