Since 1993, college graduates have been received the reform of job assignment. For the fourteen years, the situation of college graduates'job assignment has been changed. It becomes much more difficulty to obtain employment as college graduates, especially female. Continuous college expanded in the past years and more and more college graduates, they are pressure and challenge for both college and graduates themselves. Additionally, graduates'gender becomes the reason led to unfair treatments. They caused girls are less confident and active than boys during the process of finding a job. These problems need college guidance offer help to them. Therefore, the study is particularly important to tell the difference between male and female on those factors influencing graduates'occupational-choosing psycho.Scholars and researchers carried out the study on the subjective psycho factors influencing occupation choice of an individual through all kinds of means since the beginning of 21st century. Vocational interests and work values are the major factors concerned by psychologists and occupational-guide experts. In 1986, Lent and his colleagues expressed their idea individuals'occupational choice self-efficacy; vocational interests and work values have affected the occupation choice of an individual together named as social cognitive career theory. The theory explores all factors influencing graduates'occupation choice and finds out rational and pragmatic solutions for directing occupational choices of the graduate.Based on the situation of graduates'occupation choice, the paper, according to measure theory of vocational interests, revises the occupational interest questionnaire designed by Li Shi. Adopting factor analysis method, the author discovers there are six factors constituting occupational interest of graduates. They are skill, investigative, liberal, enterprising, conventional and social. The inner identical coefficient (α) is 0.796 which proves that the questionnaire, in certain degree, can measure the graduates'occupational interest.Applying the revised occupational interest questionnaire, the graduates'occupational self-efficacy of Yanhong Hu and Work Values Questionnaire of Lingwen Quan, the author measures 300 graduates (including 118 male subjects and 182 female subjects; 141 subjects in science and 159 subjects in liberal arts) and draws the following conclusions by analyzing the results:Firstly, there is a difference on types of graduates'occupational interest due to their gender. Although, the difference on types of the graduates'occupational interest listed at the total level is small, there are some different things in the below scale. On the enterprising scale, the boy expresses more interesting than girls. And on skill and liberal scale, girls have more patience than boys to do a job like that.Secondly, there is a difference of graduates'occupational self-efficacy due to their gender, specially self-concept, self-acceptance, achievement and social support.Thirdly, there is small difference of graduates'work values due to their gender, but we see between graduates'work values and sex there is a lot of difference.Fourthly, vocational interests, occupational choice self-efficacy and work values are closely related to each other. The research finds that girls'vocational interests have more effected on occupational choice self-efficacy than boys.Fifthly, the level of the female graduates'occupational choice self-efficacy, boys are lower than girls. The author suggests that graduates especially female should set right values, emprove self-efficacy and put more actively face to choosing a job. This research proves there is a difference of graduates'occupational self-efficacy due to their gender, especially on self-concept, achievements; We also finds that girls'vocational interests have more effected on occupational choice self-efficacy than boys. The conclusion basically verify the hypothesis of the psycho factors influencing graduates'occupational choice having gender difference .It has important theoretical guidance and practical significance to help graduates'occupational choice.
