This paper mainly carries on the investigation research through to the teacher in W school in Changyi,to understand the current situation of occupational stress of primary and secondary school teachers in this region and also analyzes the main sources of occupational stress of primary and secondary school teachers,and puts forward measures to prevent or alleviate occupational stress of primary and secondary school teachers on the basis of comprehensive consideration of various influencing factors.On the basis of consulting a large number of literatures,this study adopt the questionnaire on occupational stress of primary and secondary school teachers compiled by Zhu congshu and Shen jiliang(2002)was used to conduct a basic survey on occupational stress of teachers in W schools in Changyi city.Through the processing and analysis of the survey data,the current situation that primary and secondary school teachers are under great professional pressure is concluded--29.8% of teachers at primary and middle school feel that they live under extreme pressure while 35.3 % of them perceive high stress.And then draw the following conclusions from the gender,teaching age,education,position,teaching subjects,teaching period,marital status of seven aspects of the primary and secondary school teachers career stress intensity on the demographic characteristics of the correlation analysis.The occupational stress of male primary and secondary school teachers is greater than that of female teachers;The occupational stress of married primary and secondary school teachers is greater than that of unmarried teachers;Primary and secondary school teachers have the highest professional pressure for16-20 years;The occupational stress of junior middle school teachers is greater than that of primary school teachers;The professional pressure of primary and secondary school teachers as head teachers is greater than that of section teachers;Primary and secondary school teachers who teach Chinese,mathematics and English are under the most pressure.There is no significant academic difference in the occupational stress of primary and secondary school teachers.At the same time,based on the interview with teachers' representatives,this paper analyzes the causes of occupational stress of primary and secondary school teachers from six dimensions,including student factors,work load,self-development,examination pressure,family relationship and career expectation and through new media interview survey found a new source of primary and secondary school teachers occupational stress is analyzed.Finally on the basis of analyzing and integrating the main sources of primary and secondary school teachers' professional pressure,and puts forward measures to prevent or alleviateoccupational stress of primary and secondary school teachers from three aspects of teachers' individual,school and society.
