Teacher evaluation is an important component of the evaluation of education. How to scientifically assess teachers, promote the teachers' career development and improve the quality of education is the important subject in the currently educational reform and development. In order to promote the development of teachers, we must conduct a comprehensive and objective evaluation of teachers, and advocate the multi-channel, multi-subject teachers' evaluation. Leadership assessment, peer evaluation, student assessment, the social evaluation are "others' comments," teachers' self-evaluation is the core of the developmental teachers' evaluation. But teachers' self-evaluation isn't paid adequate attention currently, the school leaders and teachers do not really aware of the importance of teachers' self-evaluation. The study is aiming at the status of the current teachers' evaluation, particularly the status of teachers' self-evaluation in the curriculum reform, and the importance of teachers' self-evaluation to teachers' professional growth. And discuss the theoretical basis of teachers' developmental self-evaluation in the view of multidisciplinary, clarify the theoretical basis of the importance of the developmental teachers' self-evaluation. And then put forward the establishment and improvement of the developmental teacher self-evaluation mechanism. Finally try to construct the dimensionality and system of the developmental self-evaluation, and make recommendations on how to use thedevelopmental self-evaluation system to promote teachers' professional growth.
