This essay starts from the research value of high school vocational guidance .It defines the intension of vocational guidance; traces the history of development of vocational guidance; expounds the unique training objectives of higher vocational education and the significance of vocational guidance. Taking the theory and practical experience of foreign vocational guidance as a guide, we have understood and explored the present situation of high school vocational guidance in the region by designing questionnaires and face-to-face conversations with students and teachers, and accurately analyzed the vocational guidance achievements and problems of our higher vocational institutions in recent years, and to the problems, raised a series of high school vocational guidance policy : ①Set up the special vocational guidance agency; ② The vocational guidance must permeate through the entire teaching process, implementing process guidance; ③ Offer vocational guidance courses, and establish students' correct concept of employment; ④ Develop an entrepreneurship education actively ;⑤ Improve the quality of vocational guidance teachers; ⑥ Strengthen psychological tests for personalized guidance; ⑦Change the traditional methods of guidance, strengthen the construction of information networks for graduates employment guidance. The purpose is to enhance the employability of graduates and to help them smooth employment.
