Studying Briefly Sanlong Academies During Ming And Qing Periods

For over one thousand years as a special mode of Chinese cultural education in the old days ,the Academic Schools of classical learning had a significant effect upon our traditional civilizations.Sanlong academies served as a major component of the educational system in Sanlong area during Ming and Qing periods .By now historical documents and materials ,we know that Sanlong Academies started in the Ming Dynasty and peaked in the Qing Dynasty .Part I . There were 20 academies and another 2 academies having no verified in Sanlong areaduring Ming Dynasty by author's studying .Their character of development : most Sanlongacademies lied in the east of this area in geography ; Sanlong academies'peak of developmentwas in Jiajing period as the other academies in other area and etc. The development of Sanlongacademies and the other academies altogether were in for popularization period during QingDynasty . Their number has reached 113 including rebuilding and new building academic schoolsand etc.Part II. By particularizing some famous academic schools as Chaoran,Keiwen and Lanshanacademies of classical learning etc, the author makes readers more clearly know the state ofacademies in that time .Part III. The author analyses the main role of Sanlong academies by the collection and carving thebooks ,holding a memorial ceremony and teaching in these three aspects .
