Due to the exparte proneness which departs from the students' real life and social reality during the course of traditional way of geography teaching, the new course of teaching innovation gives out some new educational ideas. I am deeply inspired to think and study about how to teach geography in high schools with the idea 'face to life'. This article is conducted to put forward the practical and effective manipulation theory and mode in geography teaching. Meanwhile, it can provide some reference for the geography teachers in high schools.This article firstly demonstrates the theoretic and practical gist of developing the idea face to life' in geography teaching in high schools. Then, it brings forward some new actions on the way how the teachers could try their best to explore the geography resources, it also gives out a conclusion about the principle and actions of organizing geography teaching on the basis of practice. Finally, it expatiates the characteristic and the mode of operation in comments. This article tries to remind the teachers that it is useful to develop the idea of 'face to life' in geography teaching in high schools. It can inspire the students to enjoy the life, care for the life, know more about the life and create new life. However, realistically, it points out the possible problems and challenges the geography teachers may meet or have. Therefore, the teachers are expected to attach the importance to the problems and conduct an investigation in them.
