Composition correcting is one important part of composition teaching, and is the extension, the expand and the complement of composition advising, and one vital step to push the teachers to optimize composition teaching. But at present the composition correcting in junior middle school is not favorable: the teachers still correct all the compositions in a traditional way, and they spend a lot of time, but with less effect, and the feedback is not in time. They think Chinese teaching as a tool and ignore students’ subjective initiative. With the development of modern education, especially with the progress of new teaching method reform, such kind of composition correcting style is exposed with more and more obvious problems. To let composition correcting to go ahead with the time, the author reads carefully the books on pedagogy and psychology, and the books on composition teaching, especially on composition correcting, and studies with much attention the face-to-face correcting and students self correcting, and come up with face-to-face interaction composition correcting method, one effective composition correcting method. There are 4 steps in face-to-face interaction composition correcting: teachers’ correcting---students’ interaction correcting---teachers’ analysis and comment----students’ self correcting. With many years exploration and practice, the author makes clear the importance of the correcting method study: It is vital to better the students’ composition writing ability, and to develop students’ EQ, and to push the teachers to better the composition teaching.
