In past years,the reformation of the new standard of geography courses has been carrying out in China.This reformation mainly focus on the relationship between courses and student's daily life,and weaken the Entrance examination mode.Obviously,geography teaching plays an essential role in the process of achieving this goals.It will help students to understand causes of formation of various geographic phenomenon,the reasons why they should protect the environment and nature and also make it clear that why there exist so many different lifestyles and life habits.Furthermore,it also make students maintain an objective attitudes towards regional diversity and develop a healthy and environmentally friendly lifestyle.Currently,reformation of geography curriculum is still carrying on aggressively,but geography teaching can not be closely integrate into with the real life.There still exist a gap between life and geographical knowledge.This dissertation puts forward the idea of geography teaching daily life based on the related theories of pedagogy and psychology.This idea combines the development of the new curriculum standards with the developing core accomplishment of middle school students,and the key competencies of geography.The dissertation is divided into five parts:The first part mainly introduces the basis of theories,such as Tao Xingzhi's life education theory,constructivism teaching theory and the key competencies of new curriculum reform and geography respectively.The second part mainly depicts the geography teaching from three aspects,which are:(1)geography teaching into daily life is beneficial to revealing the unique value of geography;(2)improving the students' necessary ability;(3)forming students' healthy life views.The third part mainly conducts the data analysis of the questionnaires.The fourth part sets forth the implementation of geography teaching into daily life in the middle school.From schools,teachers and students,the experiment is conducted.A practical exploration is carried out in this section,including teaching practice and teaching reflection.The advantages and disadvantages of the proposal are analyzed in teaching reflection.Conclusion is given in last part.The geography teaching into daily life in the middle school is imperative,which meets the requirements of curriculum standard and the overall development of students.
