The characteristic and function of Chinese discipline can be embodied and displayed better with the help of multimedia teaching method. As an aid of teaching, multimedia is able to help the teachers and students realize the objective of teaching and learning. To do so, there is a premise. That is to recognizes clearly the advantages and shortcomings of the multimedia used in the middle school classroom, to adhere to the principles and use the methods of the multimedia teaching. Under such premise, it can be done to promote the advantages and abolish the shortcomings of the multimedia teaching, and the superiority of the multimedia teaching can be fully displayed, the teaching effect can be optimized, too. This paper attempts to study the relations between the multimedia and the Chinese teaching of the middle school, to look for the ways for multimedia served the Chinese teaching of the middle school.
