Since the 21 st century, the popularity of multimedia technology education quality, make the multimedia teaching method is widely used in music classroom teaching. The combination of computer and music also brought fresh air for the music teaching, interactive cooperation make multimedia in primary and secondary school music classroom teaching cannot be ignored. In the music classroom, multimedia assisted teaching, in the form of its rich, powerful integrated aesthetic, good interaction control, not only become the advanced teaching means of comprehensive quality education, implementation of new curriculum standard of music class provides a strong support.After 10 years of trial in 2011,the new standard in some of the information technology and the integration of music curriculum value at the same time, also should be the proper use of multimedia assisted teaching is put forward. Not widespread abuse in the current multimedia teaching depends on the multimedia teaching process, ignores the teacher’s leading role, ignored the communication between students and the music is obviously not conducive to the development of students in the classroom, more difficult to improve the teaching quality.This paper is divided into three parts to launch the elaboration step by step, from the outside to the inside. First of all, the introduction first introduces this thesis presents problems, research significance, research method and conclusion. The first part introduces the foundation of multimedia courseware and combining with the elementary and middle schools music classroom, the first summary of the traditional teaching and multimedia music classroom teaching, respectively introduces the multimedia teaching in effect to the teachers and students in the music classroom in primary and middle schools, the basic knowledge and the features of multimedia courseware. The second part introduces the feasibility of the modern multimedia technology in music classroom teaching in primary and middle schools. According to the characteristics of the development of primary and middle school students’ music aesthetic psychology and physiology, the multimedia music can fully embody the characteristics of the subject play effectiveness, and the multimedia teaching is the demand of music classroom teaching in primary and middle schools of the era, the third part through the analysis of the actual teaching and class, pointed out the existence of modern multimedia application in primary and middle school music classroom teaching problems and puts forward the optimization strategy.Therefore, this paper aims to understand and absorb the multimedia teaching as the basis, combined with the primary and secondary school students in China learn music aesthetic psychological characteristics and physiological and psychological characteristics, to introduce the practical teaching cases, the real show now use multimedia teaching environment and according to the task analysis of multimedia case. Based on the study of modern multimedia technology in music teaching in primary and secondary schools in China, to explore how the practical application of multimedia in the elementary and middle schools music classroom teaching in china. And through the study of comparative analysis of related literature, and the actual investigation and study, put forward their own views. The hope can according to students’ music learning psychological state of the appropriate use of information technology, grasp the degree and effect using multimedia classroom, grasp the leading role of teachers, improve their sense of participation, enthusiasm and creativity, attention to the music itself, effectively promote the comprehensive discipline, the implementation of the new curriculum, to arouse students’ emotion, attitude, values, process and method and the knowledge and skills of primary and secondary school students, improve music literacy, better devoted to music education.
