A new reform on curriculum is developing fast like a raging fire. To rein fore the sense of tendencies of current Chinese teaching reform,which is common idea of many Chinese educators some of them even argue that the ultimate goal of Chinese teaching is to gain the sense of language. How to make students obtain the sense of language,the author argue that reciting is one of the effective wags.Although many teachers find it effective that to recite is useful to train student's sense of language and they also realize the relationship between training sense of language and the ability of training Chinese, they don't pay much attention to the teaching of reciting.Even if they attach importance to students' reciting. However, the common way is to let student rote learning. What teachers is to go over the result of reciting, they don't pay attention to the process nor the construction of skillful reciting, which leads to student hatred of reciting.The relationship of reciting, oral reading and memorizing are close. Oral reading is an external form of reciting. Memorizing is feature of reciting Memorizing has its own regularity and method. so Chinese reciting also has its own regularity and method.The author really hope that Chinese teachers pay attention to the teaching of reciting, make use of the method of memorizing to develop the method of reciting. In order to improve the effect teachers should give some instruction to students and make students fond of reciting and love to learn Chinese.The author starts with psychology and Chinese education, combine them with my own practice of teaching. Divide the method of reciting into three parts. They are mechanical reciting, comprehensive reciting and skillful reciting. And the author tries to prove it on the base of theory and practice in order to pursue a teaching method of reciting Chinese which is convenient, quick, effective. Certainly, there is no rule but has exception, which way is better to instruct students depends on both students' level and concrete property of Chinese. The way, adopted by teachers, that students like to try to recite and let students get a better effect is called a better way.
