Firstly, as an old method to learn language and character, reciting has the function to foster students'sense of language,to help them accumulate words and sentence. It is a necessary method to learn Chinese. Secondly, the chapters and paragraphs in Chinese materials which need reciting are usually classical works, so they play a more important role in building correct philosophy and the sense of worth to the students junior high school. however, many teachers think reciting will aggravate students'burden, reciting is a mechanical manner which is bad to implement the new curricula reformation. Therefore, a lot of teachers don't attach importance to reciting. To the chapters and paragraphs which need reciting, not only do the teachers ask students to recite them out of the class by themselves, but also not attach importance to the reciting methods. hence , our students don't know how to recite. According to the background, the goal of the thesis goal is to understand junior high school students'cognitive way, to instruct reciting teaching according students'mental changing, to set down reciting methods.The thesis has five parts.First part, it will sum up many articles about reciting update which include reciting materials ,reciting meaning and reciting methods. Reciting materials usually answer for classical and compliant articles according to curriculum standard. Although someone points out reciting meaning, the analysis are not detailed. reciting methods have many parlances.Second part, it will point out the signification of reciting, analyse the elements, summarize its function and meaning. the signification of reciting has generalized meaning and narrowest sense, the thesis takes the former, it only research the subject from the corner of word. Reciting elements include reading aloud and memory. reading aloud asks for sound, memory asks for intelligence. The function and meaning of reciting remind teachers and students of thinking much of reciting.Third part, it will analysis the issues existent in reciting update. firstly, misread education for all-around development, ignore the important position of reciting. secondly, overemphasize reciting, go to the extreme, sparkplug"Chinese is recitng". thirdly, reciting methods are disordered, lacks integrity and individuation. fourth, takes much importance to the result of reciting, overlooks the reciting process, lacks the teacher's emotion.Fourth, it will analysis reciting precondition. The mental mechanism of reciting and junior high school students'cognitive ability are emphases which also are important principles and directions in reciting.Fifth, it will point the methods of reciting. From the corner of intellectual factor and the un-intellectual factor, on the basis of cognitive ability according to the mental mechanism, the thesis will set down the methods of reciting which are suited for junior high school students , foster students'interest and enhance the efficiency of reciting.
