Nowadays, as our national culture are tending toward the world continuously with the modern construction of our country, we need to carry on and carry forward the Chinese nation's excellent traditional culture, and the teaching of ancient Chinese will surely become the major field to carry forward and to expand the national culture. The ancient Chinese has been the outstanding ancient works for thousands years and are the valuable wealth which was given by our ancestor. It contained our nation's most excellent cultural traditions and deposited our nation's finest emotion.Teachers who are majored in Chinese should make use of the teaching of the ancient Chinese to make students absorb nutrition from it so as to promote our excellent national cultures.Although it is extremely significant to teach the ancient Chinese, the effect of the teaching is not satisfying. The situation of "deficiency, slowing, waste and poor quality" is ubiquity in the teaching process. The students are unwilling to learn, while the teachers also feel difficult. In order to change the situation the only way is to alter our traditional method of teaching. I consider that the recital teaching method is an effective way for the ancient Chinese teaching. During the process of the recitation, the students use their eyes, ears, mouths, and brains together totrain their instinctive language sense and form their accumulation so that they are able to grasp the whole passage and understand the contents of the passage comprehensively. Meanwhile, they can feel the feeling of the author, enjoy the images in works, and taste the language of the writer. The process of the recitation is not only an accumulating one, but also an understanding and enjoyable one. So, as a Chinese teacher, we should attach importance to recital teaching and at the same time give the recital way to the students. Then we can promote the teaching efficiency largely.
