In nowadays, the instinctive feel teaching for the language is accepted by more and more educators. Especially in the primary school stage, students are in the language learning and accumulation stage. They have not learned the grammar knowledge systematically. However, the instinctive feel is one of their main abilities to be developed in this stage which plays an important assistant role to other subjects. Therefore, how to develop the students'ability of the instinctive feel for the language in the primary school stage is a very significant problem.This thesis mainly discusses from the following aspects:The first part is a general discussion of the consolidated results of previous studies on the instinctive feel. It includes the definition, features and function of the instinctive feel for Chinese language.In the second part, the author explores the relationship between the cultivation of the instinctive feel and language teaching on the basis of the new curriculum standard of the nine-year compulsory education in order to further discuss the significance of the cultivation of students'instinctive feel for the language. At present, people pay more attention to the quality oriented education in the compulsory stage and fucus more on the development of students'healthy personality. The intake of pure knowledge cannot meet the needs of the current education, whereas it needs to develop more comprehensive ability and literacy.The third part is the focal point of this thesis which discusses the ways and methods of enhancing students'instinctive feel for the language in the primary school stage. It starts from the factors which influence the instinctive feel for the language to discuss the influence of context and cultural quality on the instinctive feel for the language. And then the principle of its cultivation is analyzed. The formation of students'instinctive feel for the language in addition to the individual'initiative, it is primarily formed by students'own practice and accumulation. Teachers should actively create a variety of conditions and situation to train students'instinctive feel for the language. Specific training method consists of two parts:training of teachers to students and self-training method. Teachers mainly cultivate students'instinctive feel for the language from reading and reciting, reading and writing. Students self-cultivation is mainly focused on training reading, the accumulation of their experience of the instinctive feel for the language, appreciating articles, enhancing the accumulation of image and words, reading and studying ancient poetry and combining the oral composition through the collaboration of the eyes, mouth and brain.The last part is the conclusion of the thesis and in which some existing problems are put forward.
