Under the background of increasing focus on the literary appreciation course, the paper tried to introduce the Chinese ancient literary critical methods from into the literary appreciation course with the purpose of improving the quality of literary appreciation course.The paper is composed of 4 parts:1. Introduction: This part analyzed the theoretically and the practically attempt of Chinese teachers to increase the efficiency of literary appreciation course.2. The analysis of Current status and problem: This part pointed out that the neglect of Chinese ancient literary theories and its critical methods has resulted in not only the low-efficiency and windage in applying them but also the singularity of the explanation and thinking ways under the background of west literature theory3. The concepts and meanings: This part explained the concepts of literary critical methods and its meanings for the literary appreciation course.4. The tactics for applying the Methods from Chinese Ancient Literary Criticism to the literary appreciation course: Firstly, this part explained the applying subjects and the relations between them, and point out that teachers, students and teaching materials should keep harmonious and equilibrium. Subsequently, several tactics for applying the Chinese ancient literary critical methods to the literary appreciation course were detailed discussed. These critical methods include "Meet-Intention-with-Sympathetic-Understanding", "tracing origin", imagist criticism, Tip-comprehend criticism and comparative criticism.
