On The Fostering Of Good Manners And Habits In Children

Politeness is the basic norm of behavior in social life . Fostering children's good manners and habits is one of the main subjects in fosterage education of young children , as well as a topic of concern and research for educationists at home and abroad , in ancient times and today . The fostering of good manners is of great significance to an individual child, to a family ,even to a country or a society .Age three to six is the best period to give young children fosterage education . However, in cities of China today , the situation of fosterage education of children's good manners cause concern on the part of adults .Fostering good manners and habits involves the coordination of three units: kindergarten,family and cociety,but in real life ,the disconnection of these three units poses crisis for fostering education .As our country quickens the pace to open to the world ,it is even move important to study the ways to foster good manners .From the perspective of pedagogy ,drawing for reference the findings of predecessors in the field of child psychology ,social ethics ,etc ,along with my own working experience in kindergarten ,this thesis analyse the relation between children's good manners and habits and the fosterage education, and then puts forward the ways to give children fosterage education . The thesis consists of three parts .partone illustrates the great significance of fostering good manners and habits in young children after defining and distinguishing the three concepts : children's good manners ,habits and fosterage education.Based on factual materials and phenomena ,Part Two points out the current situation of fosterage of children's good manners and habits , and the errors people have made in fosterage education ,and then analyes the causes of these errors from aspects of sociology , pedagogy and psychology ,etc.Part Three puts forward ways to give children fostererage education to help develop good manners and habits .
