Research On Current Situation And Development Countermeasures Of PE In Hunan Privately-owned Colleges

In order to further find out the current situation of school PE in Hunan Privately-owned college and provide some suggestion to related departments. This paper has studied the ten Privately-owned colleges in Hunan, which have been officially authorized to issue diplomas by Ministry of Education . The study has adopted many approaches, such as literature review, questionnaire, interview, investigation and comparison & statistics, etc. The author has investigated the management of PE, the construction of the PE teacher, PE teaching, the health of the students, the sports life of students, extracurricular PE and the structures of the stadium, etc. After using SPSS 11.0 statistic software to carry on a data and logic analysis, the study results are as following: 1. basically speaking, the PE management mechanism of Hunan Privately-owned College are reasonable, but lacking of standardization, institutionalized and scientific management;2. the structure of the PE staff has its own characteristics, but it isn't scientific and the scientific research level is on the low side. 3. Overall innovative efforts of PE teaching is not enough, the reform in teaching are not completed and haven't shown its own characteristic yet;4. The situation of the Students' health, which embodied the weak point of PE educational work, allows of no optimist,;5.Stadium and the construction of apparatus, which have already begun to take shape, can basically complete the PE teaching task, but can't still meet PE teaching , the needs of extracurricular physical exercises, training and contest work;6. Extracurricular PE activities, sports corporations and sports team should build up their own characteristic, however, improvement and reform in many aspects are needed.According to the current situation of school PE in Hunan Privately-owned college, the requirements of advanced talents training of socialist modernization structure, and the files of relevant laws andregulations which issued by the Central Party Committee and the State Council, this paper proposed some countermeasures for the development of Hunan PE in the college: 1 .establishing and improving the regulation system of Privately-owned education, the work of supervising and assessment should be strengthened;2. Setting up the effective mechanism of macro adjustments and controls in Privately-owned colleges;3.Improving the PE management system of Privately-owned colleges constantly;4.Strengthening the building of PE teachers' contingents;5.Accelerating the reform of the PE course and teaching in Privately-owned colleges;6. Strengthening the characteristic construction in Privately-owned colleges;7. Creating the good atmosphere of campus PE culture;8. Improving the condition for running a school in a planned way.
