Academic Achievement is still important index to learning ability and working ability, Academic Achievement will influence the future development of the middle school students, so there is much theoretical and practical significance on this study. In the past, all of the study focused on the influence of single factor on the Academic Achievement,but this study will stand in two factors, Parental Rearing Patterns and Self-worth, and it will exam the different influence to Academic Achievement by different Parental Rearing Patterns through the inner factor- Self-worth . the result are as follows:Firstly, as whole, the parental rearing pattern in family education in Taiyuan is positive. Different grade give parental rearing patterns much influence. Negative parental rearing patterns of junior students are more than that of senior students. There is also gender difference in parental rearing patterns.Secondly, there have big difference between junior students and senior students in global self-worth and special self-worth.There is no gender difference in global self-worth,but there is gender difference in special self-worthThirdly,there is significant correlation in parental rearing patterns,self-worth and academic achievement. Positive parental rearing patterns have significant positive correlation with self-worth and academic achievement;negative parental rearing patterns have negative correlation with self-worth and academic achievement.Fourthly, positive parental rearing pattern is not only have directly influence to academic achievement,but also have indirectly influence to academic achievement through self-worth;negative parental rearing patters only have directly influence to academic achievement...
