In order to understand the relationship between the academic grades and the parental rearing pattern of the Form 1 students in Macau, an investigate survey is conducted to 120 Form 1 students coming from 3 secondary schools in Macau.Methods: Use of Parental rearing method.The research results can be summarized as following:1. The Authoritative pattern takes a higher ratio to the parental rearing pattern applied by the Form 1 students' parents in Macau. As a result of this, the parents in Macau are able to face their children's negative behavior, by applying to the acceptance and endurance through the family education and care communication.2. A significant difference is found on the academic grades of the form 1 students depending on whether their fathers apply the Authoritative pattern or not It is very common to have the fathers, who apply Authoritative pattern, of the students with the higher grades. It also takes a higher ratio to have the fathers, whose children have lower grades, applying Permissive pattern to their children. This can be summarized to have a significant impact on the students' grades according to the parental rearing pattern applied by their fathers.
