Based on the macro background that Chinese society stays in the transformation stage from a basic life needs guarantee one to a unemployment insurance one, this thesis selects the special social group of the laid-off worker as research objective and choose mass madia as the research perspective,we apply a research method combined by questionnaire investigation and case interview methods to describe the laid-off workers' basic situation of media used at present, and then, we discuss the influencing content and extent of mass media to the reemployment .We find out the main influencing factors and existent problems, and put forward corresponding countermeasure.First of all, by the descriptive analysis about the mass media's using of laid-off workers in WeiFang city, we find out that the frequency and the purpose of mass media used are not increase in step in the laid-off workers in WeiFang city, but take on some kind of heterogeneity. As a medi-factor, economy has played a very important role in the change of the newspaper of the purchase and the reading. As far as the purpose of mass media used concerned, the newspaper and the broadcast are remarkable, but the TV and the network are not. As to the frequency of mass media used, the frequency of the broadcast used increases, the newspaper and the network reduce, the TV does not changes obviouely.Second, the research expatiates on the theme in three aspects, at the same time going from two main roads. We draw a conclusion from the statistic data below. Firstly, as far as the effect on reemployment concerned, human communion is better than mass media. Secondly, mass media don't exert the effect that it should have under the social support. Thirdly, opinion leaders in the laid-off workers are the important powers in the diffusion of innovations of knowledge and skill now.Three, through the deep analysis, we find out that there are many problems in the mass media's effect on the reemployment, for example the reality of the information on mass media and psychological abreaction on mass media. At the same time we put forward corresponding countermeasure.At last, the research has summarized the conclusions and put forward the shortcoming of the research.
