The study aimed at observation of the variable characters of erythrocyte immune response and T-lymphocyte subsets pre- and post-exhaustive exercise, then to probe into the variable causes of erythrocyte immune response combined with CR1, erythrocyte immune-regulating factors, FR and SOD activity. The study compared variable trend of RBC immune response with that of T lymphocyte subsets, observing their immune responsive characteristics induced by exhaustive exercise.All parameters were tested pre-exercise, just after exercise , 30 min and 24 hours post-exercise respectively, when 13 subjects did acute incremental exercise to exhaustion on the ergometer.The results as follows:1. RBC-C3bRR decreased significantly just after exhaustive exercise, and RBC-ICR showed reverse change. This indicated that secondary erythrocyte immune response had decreased. Erythrocyte immune response was suppressed 30min post-exercise, then returned basically to pre-exercise level 24 hours post-exercise, and immunodepression was released, which indicated erythrocyte immune response was suppressed by exhaustive exercise for a long time.2. The decrease of erythrocyte immune response could be correlated with that of CR1 and SOD activity, the increase of FR and lactate concentration, changes of RBC immune-regulating factors activity, but the exact mechanism should be studied further.3. T -lymphocyte subsets changed insignificantly in general after exercise, but T cell level and C4+/CD8+ ratio both decreased, T cell level had basically restored 24 hours after exercise, however C4+/CD8+ ratio was lower than that of pre-exercise, which suggested WBC immune response was suppressed mildly.4. Erythrocyte immune response decreased significantly just after exercise, thenbegan to restore 30min after exercise. Erythrocyte immune response had restored to pre-exercise level 24 hours post-exercise. C4+/CD8+ ratio decreased just after exercise, and showed a continuous decline 30min after exercise. It had basically restored 24 hours post-exercise. The changes of erythrocyte immune response weren't consistent with that of T- lymphocyte subsets, which showed different responsive characteristics of RBC and WBC to the exhaustive exercise, and indicated retardancy of WBC immune response, moreover, RBC immune response more sensitively. So erythrocyte immune can be used for serving the immune response of the body.
