Co-operative learning is one of the learning method spark-plugged by the new curriculum, which has become the new tend of learning method. According to some research, compared with the other learning method, co-operative learning has got the advantages of improving the learning grade, bettering the co-operative atmosphere as well as forming better psychology qualities. How to utilize the co-operative learning in senior chemistry teaching is the main point of this paper. The whole passage is developed in five chapters in the order of the research of utilizing, that is, the pointing of the problem, analysis information and carrying out the theory, practice and experiment research..In the brief introduction, the author explained the background knowledge and the research motivation, analyzed the shortage of the research on co-operative learning either at home or abroad and at last pointed out the viscera as well as the method of the research.Within the second chapter, the author searched and coordinated a lot of related bibliographic, clarified the definition and the types of co-operative learning, the affirmative effect of co-operative learning, as well as the related basic theory about sociology, developing of knowledge, selective theory and motivation theory, pointing out that co-operative learning is not only a learning method, but also a content to be learned. It is a system about teaching and experiment theory.This paper plays the emphasis on the theory research about co-operative learning in senior chemistry teaching, which is also the requirement in the reformation of the basic education called for by the new curriculum. It is also required by the development of the modern education, as well as the reformation in the senior chemistry teaching, which makes this kind of research more important than ever. The application of the co-operative learning in senior chemistry teaching should be developed under the following disciplines, democracy,, activity, co-operation and development What's more, the author constructed the model of senior chemistry teaching, that is the speculation of group co-operation, settled the teaching goals, the operative program as well as the. applicative strategy for this teaching model, so as to carry out the meaningful research of the application of co-operative learning in senior chemistry teaching.Research on the active practice is another emphasis played by the author in this paper. Besides giving both common and special measures in application of co-operative learning, the author also pointed out the potential problems and challenges in the application and then specially took notice of guidelines related to learning motivation , co-operative conciousness and ability ,co-operative learning evaluation .Some examples in the specific teaching practice will also help the readers better understand co-operative learning in senior chemistry teaching.In the end, much emphasis is played on the research on the application of co-operative learning in teaching experiment. The author analyzed the subject and data of the experiment, and drew the conclusion. The result of the experiment indicated that the combination of the co-operative learning method and speculation learning method in the chemistry teaching help the students well developed either in knowledge, feelings, or in social activities. And the author is sure that the co-operative learning is the most effective method.
