Demend And Supply Analysis For Occupational Edueation Of GanSu Province

The development of education is inseparable from a balance of demand and supply in education. The earlier studies mainly focused on the sector of higher education or on macro system, but not in the occupational education,let alone on that of the less-developed Northwest part of the country. So, demand and supply in occupational education in Gansu province, a less-developed region, is discussed theorically. Practical example is illustrated to analyze.Firstly, the author analyzes the relation between occupational education and the economic development in Gansu province. On the base of that, the occupational education models in Gansu province are vertically analyzed and comparisons with occupational education level in the developed coastal regions are made. After correlated analysis, the reason why the gap between Gansu and developed regions generates is explained.Secondly,the author also probes into the concept, classification and features of occupational education in Gansu province, and sets up his mathematical model of demand and supply. Large amount of investigation data shows that factor affecting the demand and supply in occupational education of every person lies in the income of the student's family, while factor affecting the demand and supply in occupational education of society lies in economic level of the society, and decision factor for supply of occupational education is the states policies on education. Thus, the author puts forward some suggestions for policies about enrollment, finding job, plausible weasccies to students and educational input, etc, and also predicts situation demand and supply from 2005to 2010 about occupational education in Gansu province.Finally, through concept study for the principle and trend of the abroad occupational education development, this thesis puts forward the suggestion of Gansu occupational education with macro and tiny view ascend.
