Higher Education has deep interrelationship with Economic growth. On the one hand, Higher Education promotes the growth of Economics greatly. On the other hand, the educated talents required because of Economics growth will boost the demand of the college graduates. So the article mainly analyses the demand and supply of higher education in China. The article first concentrates on the status quo and influence factors of personal higher education demand and supply. During the analyses, it explains the reasons why the participants of Gaokao decrease this year. It can mainly contribute to the fall of the high school graduates and those who spend an extra year in high school. Later it discusses the influencing factors of personal high education demand and supply. Usually personal ability, culture, parents'education level, family income, tuition, education return, social development and the population exert effects on personal demand. However, as for the supply of higher education chances in china, the supply keeps increasing and the suppliers diversify. But there is still shortage and the education chances are not equally distributed among different provinces. Then it carries out empirical analysis on the influence of the economic factors. It's found that the cost, supply of higher education and economic development plays an essential role in affecting the demand while the higher education return and unemployment rate don't show a significant effect. The higher the income is, the stronger the demand will be; the more the tuition is, the less the people will be to go to college; the supply of higher education chances pull the demand. Finally, owing to the contradiction between demand and supply, it comes to several suggestions to solve the problems and reach equilibrium between demand and supply. The government should enlarge the input on higher education, take into consideration the differences between economics development in each province and offer Preferential Policies towards those underdevelopment area. What's more, the private schools should be encouraged greatly so as to enlarge the higher education supply and meet the shortage.
