It is useful for the high school students to finish their young personal socialization better by studying their consumption and analyzing the influence of consumerism and flaunting consumption. According to the investigation in the samples of the students from freshman to senior of two universities in Chongqing, it draws these conclusions: 1.Consumption is infiltrating into high school campuses and the flaunting consumption is the extreme form of consumerism appears in consumer group of students. 2.There is culture of flaunting consumption in high school students and the major affecting and spreading mechanism is the popular medium. 3.The culture of flaunting consumption exerts negative influence on high school students' idea of value, identifying estate and personal socialization.According to analyze the major elements of the student's personal socialization, this article gives these suggestions to solve the negative influence of flaunting consumption: 1. We should try to strengthen the consumption education by giving speech in high school to form a positive idea of consumption for high school students. 2.Family should pay attention to consumption education for children, control their expenditure reasonably, correct their wrong action and help them to form positive idea of money and consumption.3.We should bring the initiative of the student organization into full play, launch scientific, cultural, artistic and physical pursuits to enrich the leisure time of the students and propagate the tradition of industry and thrift to guide the students to form a positive culture in the same aged group. 4.We should correct our popular medium to exert a positive influence on high school students, announce the cultural department to spread positive idea of consumption and give objective judgments to the negative flaunting consumption in society to guide the students to consume healthfully, reasonably and scientifically.
