IT course came from Computer course ago. IT course was settled in part of K-12 schools in our country ten years ago .Since ministry of education issued "the notice of prevailing IT education" in October 2000, IT course has been setup in countrywide K-12 schools, and IT education is thriving. IT course is new course after all, IT course has no a suit of perfect test scheme.Nowadays, there are two test schemes. The first scheme makes use of "paper and pen" to examine student's IT basic knowledge and skills. The scheme has some shortcoming because the method can only adapt to test a student's memory and can't examine his skills. The second scheme gives a student a task and lets him finish it on the computer. The teacher goes to examination room himself and judges it. But the scheme has also some shortcoming. It can't examine a student's knowledge level.IT course includes both knowledge and skills, but the later is exigent. In order to examine students from various angles, the penman designs a web-based examination system. The topic of dissertation roots in a sub-research of IT course performance research. The system includes five modules. They are the registry module, the test module, the paper-judgment module, the account-manager module and questions-input module. In order to expediently communicate, the system adds a BBS module. The system can examine not only knowledge but also skills. The system's pith is the test module and the paper-judgment module. After a user registers and logins in the test module, he can do test questions that make up of objective questions and subjective questions. After he submits it, the system can judge it and give the score of objective questions and immediately feed it back to him. The system adopts the form of submitting E-working to test a student's skills. The E-working is finished in the real environment (for example, Windows, Office and FrontPage). To simple skills, the system can automatically judge them. The subjective questions ask a teacher to login in the paper-judgment module to judge them. A teacher only judges E-working so that the system can distinctly alleviate his workload. The dissertation consists of six chapters. In the first chapter, it addresses the backgrounds and significance of the exploitation of the system. In the second chapter, it discusses the correlated theories of the system. In the third chapter, it expounds the whole system of frames. In the fourth chapter, it expatiates the whole steps of implement. In the fifth chapter, it recommends the testing on the web and Local Area Network. In the last chapter, it summarizes the merit and shortcoming of the system and puts forward the orientation of improvement.
