Inquiry learning differs from students' learning patterns in traditional educative activities because it is open, practice-based, comparatively free in determining courses and liable to generate its own curriculum. Owing to its integrity, uniqueness, restriction and transparency in progressing, inquiry learning activities matches the salient features of project management. As a system, project management covers many aspects, such as organizing, scope, progressing, cost, quality, human resources, communication and risks.By incorporating project management with inquiry learning and establishing a new pattern of inquiry learning management, this article is to manage inquiry learning scientifically, systematically , normatively and effectively with advanced management theory and techniques. Thus the article will explore on constructing a new management pattern compatible to inquiry learning. The article will adopt literature analysis, case study and personal experience summarizing as its tools. A combination of theoretical analysis and experiences demonstration is the basal methodological guidelines, which this article follows.This article is to expound the following issues: definition of project management in inquiry learning, organization structure of inquiry learning project, human resources management of inquiry learning project, process of inquiry learning project, progressing of inquiry learning project and evaluation of inquiry learning project.
