Research And Practice Of Project-based Inquiry Learning Model In The Primary School IT Education

With the deepening of second-stage curriculum reforms, the development of quality education and the increasing popularity of information technology come the new challenges for IT teachers. How to help students develop information literacy and enhance their ability to apply knowledge to practice in the IT classrooms are the focal points for this research paper.Based on the author's experience of last ten years in both classroom teaching and teaching research, combined with the latest advanced teaching model and the learning characteristics of primary school students in Shanghai, it is expected that the introduction of primary school IT course through Project-based Inquiry Learning Model (PBI) can help to address the problems raised above.First, in the introduction part, the research background of PBI Model, the research content and research method are elaborated and relevant concepts are defined. The elaboration of relevant theory research home and abroad provides further proof of the value of this research.Next, the author is able to gradually construct a tailor-made PBI Model for primary school through constant research and practice. In this part, the frameworks of several Inquiry Learning Models are illustrated. They are Inquiry Learning Model, Inquiry Learning Model for primary school students, Project-based Inquiry Learning Model and Inquiry Learning Model in the Internet environment.While researching on PBI Model, the author conducts deep and comprehensive study of research subjects. The author also uses widely adopted evaluation index, and designs the questionnaire based on it to verify the positive results of PBI Model.Lastly, after the accumulation of evaluation data from relevant practice, the author uses SPSS software to conduct descriptive analysis of the data. Hopefully, some effective evaluation index that facilitates this PBI Model can be found to promote its application.Against the background of further carrying forward the flourishing curriculum reforms, the author realizes that the PBI Model needs to be further improved through future research and practice. The future potentials for flexible and varied teaching models are great.
