With the development of modern mathematics and the progress of science andtechnology, the reform of mathematics curriculum and mathematics textbooks is increasingly profound. At the same time, the notion of mathematics and the goal of mathematics education are innovating deeply. The notion that mathematics is a sort of culture is flowing into blood of modern people, who have taken on and practiced the mathematics culture curriculum. Under the basic notion of mathematics culture, mathematics has been given an extensive meaning, and education of mathematics has become a kind of education of culture quality.The innovation is obviously included in the new mathematics curriculum standard for primary schools, one of the most important notions of which is to cultivate and promote students' culture quality through mathematics education. This notion not only embodies and serves for requirement for the conception of modern education and talent, but also roots in the essence of mathematics culture. In order to understand and apply the new mathematics curriculum standard better, and achieve the education of mathematics culture quality completely, it is very necessary to study the conception of culture, the extensive meaning of mathematics culture and the realistic feature of culture contained in current mathematics textbooks, and so on.There are altogether four chapters in this paper. Chapter one is a comprehension of the notion of mathematics culture, which is based on the study on culture conception. In this chapter we illustrate that mathematics as a sort of culture is an important part of human culture, and also reveal what the holistic feature and the charm of mathematics are. Chapter two is to develop mathematics culture contained in current mathematics textbooks, which is based on the study of culture on the process of mathematics textbooks for primary schools published by people education. Chapter three is an analysis on the gap between the culture contained in mathematics textbooks and the extensive meaning of mathematics culture. In this chapter we also discover the reason of the gap from culture view. Chapter four is the reflection of mathematics textbooks. Based on the proceeding discussion, we provide the suggestions on the mathematics textbooks for primary schools.
