Singapore is a developed country, and its economic development is inseparable from culture and education.China and Singapore have similar cultural backgrounds and development histories.Mathematics culture is a general concept, which generally includes mathematics and real life, mathematics and science and technology, mathematics and humanities art and history of mathematics. In recent years, under the background of applying mathematics core literacy, mathematics culture has been highly praised by international mathematics education. How to give full play to the educational value of mathematics culture, strengthen the international communication of mathematics culture, and how to combine mathematics culture with textbooks and teaching is one of the main problems facing mathematics education. The research has practical significance and educational value for spreading mathematics culture and popularizing mathematics culture teaching. The thesis is based on the Mathematics textbooks for junior middle school of Shanghai Normal university and New Mathematics Counts for Secondary 2 Normal(Academic)Singapore.Marshall,as the object of study, mainly studied the similarities and differences of the mathematical culture in the two versions of the textbook, and the enlightenment of the treatment of the mathematical culture in the Singapore textbook on China's mathematical education. The findings are as follows :(1)the content of mathematical culture in the two editions is different. There is less mathematical culture in the textbooks of Singapore, while there is a wealth of mathematical culture in the textbooks of Shanghai science and technology university, with a difference of 120.(2)the two editions deal with the content of mathematical history in a similar way.The way of dealing with the content of mathematical culture in the two editions is mainly explicit, and the number of implicit mathematical history in the Shanghai science edition is more than that in the Singapore editionDue to my own level and research conditions, the comparison of mathematical culture in the two editions of textbooks is only at the superficial statistical level, and there is a lack of in-depth exploration of the educational background of mathematical culture in the two editions of textbooks, which needs further study.
