The development of society need the spirit of innovation and the ability of practice, so revolutions in basic education broke out all over the world in recent years. Nowadays, china also begins the revolution, the developing in teaching method is very important. Situated instruction can satisfy Quality Education's needs. Our research start from the analysis of times trend, comes out that creativity is necessary for construction in new time. We need our own teaching methods, which can bring up students' creativity. From our research we find situated instruction of physics in middle school have four steps: first, give students abundant feeling knowledge; second, lead and help students make the knowledge from feeling to reasoning; third, train students to master basic skills; fourth, make conditions for students' practice. To fulfill the four steps, we need situation projection, which directed by constructivism theory and psychology of learning. At last, we give some examples about how to project situations and finish the four steps. An experiment is conducted to perform validation about our theory, which is described and analyzed in the end.This thesis primarily discusses how to practice the situated instruction of physics in middle school for preparation of putting Quality Education into practice. The whole paper is arranged like this: the first part talks the actuality of physics teaching in middle school. The second part debates the structure of physics of middle school, how to attract students to study physics and how to cultivate the thinking habit. You can find the character of physics teaching in middle school from those. The third part tells you about the strategy which we use to put situated instruction into practice. Four steps are given about that. In the fourth part we analyze an experiment about our theory, which is conducted in the Affiliated High School of South China Normal University. The last part gives our conclusions and analysis of shortages of the research.
