Performance management of college's teachers is important thoughts in teachers'human resources management. With teachers'human resources management springing up, researchers and supervisors begin to attach increasingly importance to it. Not only researchers and supervisors enter into study and implement performance management of college's teachers. The theory and practice is helpful to compensate for the Limitations and deficiency, to intensify communications between and college's supervisors and teachers, to offer favorable theory and practical basis. By consulting literature and interview, the author finds out there are theoretical and practical problems of performance management of college's teachers which is generally summarized into lack of independent theory and practical system.The dissertation begins with exploring the theory of performance management of college's teachers, researches into the practice of current performance management of college's teachers by the way of literature, comparison and interview. We find out there exists some problems whether process or contents and means of performance management of college's teachers. As for the status quo, the dissertation proposes countermeasure in the former aspects and intends to solve the main theoretical and practical problems of performance management of college's teachers. The research mainly consists of three parts apart from the introduction:Part one: Explore the theory of performance management of college teachers in China and state the connotation, significance and particularity of it on the basis of theory. Then mainly generalize from the process, contents and means of performance management of college teachers which offers the theoretical basis for the latter parts.Part two: The author researches into the practice on process, contents and means of performance management of college teachers and analyze the existing problems in three aspects. Part three: Aiming at the existing problems on process, contents and means of performance management of college teachers, the author proposes corresponding countermeasure to optimize the process, contents and means of performance management of college teachers.
