This paper discusses related concepts of employment information searching behavior.Combining domestic and foreign fundamental research results of information searching, a questionnaire is designed for fresh university graduates to investigate how they search employment information in the network environment. Taking Southwest University fresh graduates as study object, this article conducts empirical study. The questionnaire consists of questions from dimensions such as information needs and awareness, selecting of information source, searching methods, searching strategy, browsing of searching results, searching habits and influencing factors of searching behavior. Through statistical analysis of the survey data, the paper obtain the specific behavioral characteristics of the fresh graduates in the network environment. Combining these characteristics with those of the employment information source in the network environment, the paper go forte to conclude the influencing factors such as information searching behavioral characteristics and psychology, and attempts to build up models for employment information searching, browsing, and searching behavior in network environment. Finally, the paper proposes suggestions and countermeasures based on the investigation results.
