With the advent of the age of informatization and digitization,the importance of information retrieval ability of middle school history teachers has become increasingly prominent,and it is of great significance to promote the professional development of history teachers.In view of this,the thesis selects some middle school history teachers as the object,and conducts the investigation by means of questionnaire survey and interview.The findings of the study: First,some middle school history teachers can recognize the important role of information retrieval in teaching.Second,middle school history teachers have basic information retrieval methods,but they are relatively simple.It is relatively lacking in the combination of information technology knowledge and knowledge related to history teaching resource software.Third,there are some middle school history teachers whose level of processing and application after information retrieval is insufficient,the literacy of information technology is lacking,and the training of information technology is not targeted enough.According to the research results,three countermeasures are put forward: First,master the skills of using historical information retrieval engines and websites commonly used in middle schools,and know how to use the resources of the network library to clarify the keywords of information retrieval.Second,identify and analyze the single-source information encountered,and identify the source of the type of information that problem solving relies on.Third,teachers with strong information retrieval ability in the school and teachers with weak information ability help each other,library retrieval teachers and middle school history teachers set up a network study group,and teachers themselves actively participate in network information retrieval exchange training.Based on the strategy,taking the network resource search as an example,the information retrieval ability of middle school history teachers is divided into three aspects: data information inquiry,information collection,and data information identification.It is further divided into two aspects: ancient Chinese history and modern history of the Communist Party of China,and uses typical retrieval cases to analyze the practical operation of the retrieval ability of middle school history teachers.There are still some deficiencies in the paper: First,the number of research objects and research samples is insufficient.Second,there are few research angles.Third,the strategies proposed in the study may not be complete.It is hoped that in the future,more scholars will conduct more in-depth research on the improvement of the information retrieval ability of middle school history teachers.
