In recent years, the employment of college graduates has become a social focus in China. As a social problem, the difficulty of their employment after graduation is analyzed from different perspectives by the academic circles in terms of various factors involved. Among those researches, some concentrate the discussion on the economic development, pointing out the quantitative and structural mismatch between the demand and supply of the labor force, together with the consequential influence. Or they contribute the problem to the macroeconomic factors like the lag of education system reform. Some others, in a microeconomic way, look into the difference between the human capital and social capital. Based on theories of social capital, this research focuses on the employment of college graduates in the perspective of college social capital.First, these research sorts domestic and overseas social capital theoretical researches along with relevant researches in the relationship between those theories and the employment of college graduates, exploring the influence of the college social capital on it. Second, data from the questionnaire Employment Survey for the College Graduate is analyzed and clarifies the current situation and existing problems in the usage of college social capital. Finally, suggestions are made on the basis of the conclusion:1.Strategy of structuring the internal and external college social capitals;2. Main ways of accumulating the college social capital;3. Measures of improving the graduates'ability of using the college social capital.Document review, questionnaire and interview are adopted in this research.
