In the great environment of intense competition, knowledge explosion, and economic globalization today, the employment problem has becoming a hot issue and aroused more people's concern. Especially, party and state, society and college and the parents of graduates are always pay close attention to the college graduates'employment problem because it is crucial to the balance and stability of a nation, harmony and peace of society.Some experts and scholars has studied and discussed the college graduates'employment from the angle of macroscopic or the angle of human capital or social capital, But many of which didn't do a deep and comprehensive study on it. It is a great research direction on how to use the theory of human capital and social capital to analyze the college graduates' employment for the time being.This paper does an empirical study and analyzes the impact of individual characteristics, human capital and social capital on college graduates'employment and indicates the correlation between them and based on the domestic and foreign relevant theory and research method. The empirical method is investigation questionnaire. We choose the 2011 college graduates of some university of Dalian as the sample and do some analysis on it. This paper does a regression analysis to the investigation data use logit model, and get the significant of every influence factors. From the regression result, we can get some conclusions as follows. During the influence factors, sex of individual characteristics factors, working ability, academic score, the gain of scholarship and job qualification certificate, and part-time job and internship experience of human capital, social status of graduates'parents and employment information and opportunity are most important to the college graduates 'employment among the influence factors.There are five sections in this paper. The first section, introduces the background, the theoretical significance and practical significance of this research, meanwhile, the research methods and frameworks of this paper are pointed. The second section, the literature review of study on the impact on the college graduates'employment from three aspects, such as, individual characteristics, human capital and social capital, has been summarized. The third section is the designing and testing of the research questionnaire. Design the questionnaire according to some relative research literature and test it with the method of reliability analysis and validity analysis, the descriptive statistics analysis of the questionnaire has been done in the last part of thin section. The fourth section, Analysis to factors affecting employment of college graduates based on Logit model. This section is the main part of this paper. By constructing the logit function between the dependent variable and argument, doing regression analysis, we obtain the regression coefficient, thereby we obtain the influence degree of every dependent variable. And then we do a analysis on it, some relative suggestions are put forward in order to improving the possibility of college graduates employment. The last section is conclusion of this paper, summarizes the work as well as proposes the suggestion for future research.
