Special education, as a challenging work, it is up against quite different disabilities groups. The quality of education of special education depends on the concept of teachers, the concept of multi-disciplinary, and individual differences in means and methods of education. Thereby increasing the level of special education teachers is the important way that improve the quality of education in special education, among these, job training is a quicker, faster way. Therefore, this study by the research of the in-service training of special education consulting teachers workshop which is sponsored by Xiangyang Children Development Center's in Jiangjin District, Chongqing. Analysis the characteristics of in-service training in the workshop. Render some recommendations for reference for development of the workshop, and at the same time, learn from the experience of the training of workshop, proposed development strategy of in-service training of special education teacher of our country.This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the background and significance of this research. It discusses the professional background, realistic background, practice background for this research, and theoretical and practical significance by doing the research.The second part includes that related development and reviews of Special education teacher in-service training, the delimitation of related concepts, and research thoughts.The third part is that object to the in-service training of special education consulting teachers workshop which is sponsored by Xiangyang Children Development Center's in Jiangjin District, Chongqing, through investigation and research, summarizes the operating mode of special education consulting teachers workshop, the features are that, the workshop has specific training objectives; content of these classes follow the implementation procedures of special education; use the participatory training; closed training site, focus on training time; the teacher can guide the students at anytime and anywhere; emphasis on training of student's humanities, etc.. At the same time, pointed out the problems which exist in the in-service training of special education consulting teachers workshop: Training purposes subject to the influences by the variety of uncontrollable factors; whether training of students have the appropriate basic knowledge; the number of participating study is limited by training mode and place; whether the training effect can be maintained; Re-training and feedback have greater difficulties. The fourth part give suggestions based on the problems exist in the in-service training in the workshop. Confirm the learning objective of participate in study in preparation stage of training; open Preparatory classes for the students which is weakness in basic. Using the Internet to establish support networks; let consulting teachers can play a big role, etc.The fifth part is that, according to the above conclusions. For the in-service training of our country can be referenced, summarized as follows: Training organizer should let training objectives specific; provide the training content according to the need of training students; carry out various forms of organization, security training time; raise awareness of teachers in-service training, motivate teachers training; attention that the training results for the application in practice; diversified approach to training; integrate the resources, improve the quality of training; standardized training system, establish the examine system for qualifications of special education teachers.
