The phenomenon of "High input, low output" in classical Chinese teaching in Senior High has obsessed us for a long time and the classical Chinese teaching is confronted with endless embarrassment. Therefore, the paper on the study of how to improve the effectiveness of classical Chinese teaching in the senior middle school had not only theory value but also realism significance. This article begins from the classical definition of the concept of effective teaching. Then, the author describe the measure of classical Chinese effective teaching on the aspects of "development" and "teaching effect" and then put forward the main teaching classical Chinese theory. The author believes the fact that results in inefficient teaching classical Chinese is very complex. The comprehensive study of the causes of the low interest and motivation of students in learning is an important breakthrough in the effectiveness of teaching. The author conducted interviews with teachers and students to investigate the situation, and got a full awareness of the status of the study in classical Chinese. In light of the findings of the analysis and teaching practice based on observation, the author summed up the three major factors which lead to the low interest in learning classical Chinese learning. These three factors related to teaching students the value of the classical Chinese understanding, learning habits, learning methods, teaching concept, teaching methods, such as differences in teaching.The author thus combines his own six years of teaching practice and thinking, putting forward the corresponding measures to improve the effectiveness of teaching classical Chinese including "to stimulate interest and enhance motivation";"teach the methods";"teach on aptitude";"focus on convergence of the middle and high school";"take a variety of teaching methods"; "make great efforts to promote teacher's accomplishment" etc. In this paper, the author Refers to " High School Chinese Course Standard " and other experts'idea of effective teaching, the article posts author's practical viewpoint of classical Chinese effective teaching, which is based on own teaching practices. The article cited a large number of teaching cases and examples of classroom practice, with strong characteristics of practicality.
