Study On Sense Of Civic Responsibility In Current China

Citizen is the basic subject of a harmonious society. To cultivate the civic responsibility and self-discipline is the premise that can make our society operate perfectly and harmoniously. Sense of civic responsibility is the correct understanding and evaluation that citizens of their social can shoulder in public life, which contains what the responsibility is both on the clear understanding, but also the profound understanding of the inevitability of their own responsibility. Pursuit of building a socialist harmonious society is the coordinated development among human being, nature and society. Sense of civic responsibility is an essential characteristic quality of modern citizens, traction with the national feeling of individual on nation and public affairs, which can maintain the harmonious relationship between man and man, man and society. Fostering and enhancing awareness of civic responsibility, achieving the internal unity of pursuit of the legitimate rights of citizens and social responsibility and creating the modern citizen having a positive capacity are the important topics we are facing.From the view of cultivation of civic awareness and civic morality research, this article guided the Marxist dialectical materialism and historic materialism methodology, used philosophy, ethics, educational theory and research methods, to put our sense of civic responsibility in which the current context of the times, commence discussion on theory with practice.First, this article conduct a systematic scientific concepts on sense of civic responsibility and some related definition and master dynamic status of it in academic community. Second, the author sorts out and analyzes the current status and causes of civic responsibility in China based on our national situation. Third, problems and discussion on sense of civic responsibility is analyzed according to the dilemma that cultivate sense of civic responsibility in China. Finally, the author puts forward the content and method of target that cultivate sense of civic responsibility, which is to foster good sense of civic responsibility and cultivate the qualified citizens, in the light of Chinese national situation and the historical stage of development.
