| Based on the relationship analysis between urbanization and urban infrastructure, function and mechanism for urban infrastructure effect on urbanization has been studied in this paper. It indicates that increasing the input of urban infrastructure construction to continually perfect the service standard and service quality of infrastructure plays a significant role in pushing up the urban economic increase and boosting the process of urbanization.After examining the mutual relationship between urbanization and urban infrastructure, the paper also analyzes the basic situation of Guizhou Province's urbanization, its urban infrastructure construction and urban construction investment and financing. It makes use of two analytical approaches: theoretical one and demonstrative evidence, to analyze and study the interrelationship between Guizhou economic development, urbanization level and urban infrastructure development.Finally, based on plentiful of multi-facet comparisons of statistical data, it derives the existing gaps between Guizhou Province, the national level and other provinces in view of urbanization, urban infrastructure construction, urban construction investment and financing, and its financing structure. It further analyzes the deep reason for the occurrence of these gaps. The paper, taking the relative theories of urbanization and regional economic development, the property and classification of public products, etc. as the research basis, puts forwards counter-measures and suggestions of speedily advancing Guizhou Provincial urbanization process. |
