This article is written and based on management practice of Lintech Limited (hereafter referred as Lintech Ltd.), it is composed of two parts which are 慶ase study)?and 慶ase analysis?慍ase study?represents systematically reveals the sharp changes in operating environment of Lintech Ltd. The author uncovers the traditional telecommunication trading pattern is hardly continued as of today. From macro point of view, Hong Kong is subject to dramatic change in economic structures, whereas China and international telecommunication markets also bring about a fundamental change. In respect of shareholder structure, Guangdong Telecom, the parent company, is strategically spined off and reformed. Based upon such premise, Lintech Ltd. reshapes its development and choice of strategies.慍ase analysis?mainly relies on the adoption of strategic management theories, shows analysis of different situations from different angles, which can be from macro to micro, from internal to external. The purpose of such analysis is to examine strategic issues with Lintech Ltd. and systematically go through PEST analysis on macro environment and industiy environment aspects, to exhibit opportunities and threats caused by external environmental factors. Further analytical review on Guandong Telecom and Lintech Ltd. in terms of internal environmental factors such as corporate competency and generic factors, especially the implications of Lintech Limited as a China enterprise in Hong Kong. Lintech Ltd. has its own strengths and weaknesses. Applying SWOT analysis method, the author establishes feasible development direction and creativity for Lintech Ltd. in three broad categories:Intemationalised development strategy, Joint venture reform strategy and capital operating strategy. These three strategies are to effectively generate complementary competitiveness based on double identity of Lintech Ltd., and to create win-win strategic effect.
