The Rewrite Of Traditional Folklore In Modern Films And Television Plays

With the popularity of the television and the wave of the confluence of the film and television, video media to be the leading media for its uniquely advantage , and playing an important role in people lives. Under the influence of the video media, various cultural phenomenon have the trend of closing to the video media more or less. with this tidal current, some folklore be detached from the oral communication way of face-to-face and spread to the imaging system of the video media.It is worthwhile to note that people telling,singing,record the folk literary of same theme in the oral shape, the wirtten shape,the film and television shape and other shape,if we don't inflexible the different of mediums, there is no fundamentally different between the story in this shape, but take on a complementary relation.There are constucte the dissemination system in same.In this sense,this thesis regard the different forms of Lotus Lantern Stories such as stage play,films and television plays as the variant texts of this folktale. This thesis in terms of folklore,trying to start with the contemporary variant texts of Lotus Lantern Stories created with folk literature theory, elaborates on the variation of this variant texts's content and the reason of this variation. And this thesis will analyse the cultural basis and psychological basis which refer to the variation of contemporary variant texts.In addition, this thesis will discuss the impact which films and television plays bring to folklore.And this thesis will also discuss the problem that folklore how to seise the opportunity of medium develop as to more effective communication .
